Ciara is as sweet as her name. Ciara will be 3 years old in May of 2008 and is a deep bittersweet chocolate girl who exhibits many of the wonderful qualities required by the Labrador Standard.  She has a wonderful coat, blocky head, warm expression and powerful otter tail. All while standing at a beautiful 72 lbs.

Her goal in life is to please everyone she meets; therefore she is an eager learner and has been easy to train. From the time she was a very young puppy she would sit patiently, paying close attention while waiting for her next command. She retrieved her first bird at 8 weeks old and continues to this day to play fetch, ride in the pick-up or Gator, lay by your feet, go for walks, or most of all entertain the grandchildren.

Ciara is a gentle girl that my husband has nick-named “Classical” which is quite fitting. She has the refined show ring trot of proud elegance, mimicking her Champion sire Toby to a "T" . Ciara has matured into a lovely girl that is very obedient. She is proud and positive; exhibiting that lovely Labrador temperament we have all fallen in love with but remains as mellow as they come until there is some playing to be had.

Ciara proved to be truly wonderful mama dog when she whelped her first litter, far above any expectation I had for her. Ciara continues to groom, protect and teach her puppy Izzy.
